I've been working on holiday cards most of this week, and needed a break to recharge my creative batteries. My son Stephen helped me to make some cranberry crunch bark as a sweet treat for my family for the holidays.
Our project from start to finish was a little over 30 minutes...he did the chopping and measuring of the almonds and sweetened cranberries, and I did most of the stirring.
It was a great opportunity for us to spend some time together...if you have teenagers in your house, you know it can sometimes be a challenge to get them to do anything with parental units!
This recipe is a definite "keeper"...it's called "festive cranberry crunch bark" and is in the Pampered Chef Holiday 2007 "Guide to Gifts and Entertaining" booklet.
Enjoy!
